姥姥家位于一个山清水秀的小村子。这个村子两旁是两座连绵起伏的群山，两座山之间有一条清澈见底的小河，河里小鱼小虾数不胜数。小河一侧有一条柏油马路，马路的左右两边各有几十户人家，这里的人淳朴善良，忠厚老实。那条马路就是带领人们离开农村，走向城镇，走向成功的致富之路。
